Upcoming Audiobook Release and New Role as Fiction Editor

I meant to write a post with a couple of news updates a few weeks ago, but I came down with the flu right after New Year’s. (I got a flu shot last October. So much for that.) I’m finally feeling like myself again now, so:

As of a couple of weeks ago, I’m the new fiction editor for the Franco-American literary journal Résonance. If you’re a Franco-American or French-Canadian writer or artist, check out the current issue and take a look at the submission guidelines. Work is accepted for consideration in both English and French.

Also, my novel The River Is Everywhere will soon be available in audiobook format. This is something I’ve wanted to offer readers (listeners?) since the book came out in 2023, but for a number of reasons, producing an audiobook version of the novel was put on the back burner. The audiobook is currently being recorded. I’m excited (and a bit nervous!) about listening to it once it’s done. Check back soon for information on its release date and a list of retailers that will have the audiobook available.

2025 Leominster French-Canadian Festival

I’m happy to announce that I will be at the Leominster French-Canadian Festival on June 21 selling and signing copies of The River Is Everywhere alongside other Franco-American authors, musicians, and artisans. Upcoming Event: Le Petit Rassemblement des Artistes Franco-Américain: A Celebration of Modern Expression

I’m proud to be among the speakers invited to present their work at the Franco-American Collection at the University of Southern Maine‘s petit-rassemblement on November 2. I will be talking about my second novel, The River Is Everywhere, and will have copies of the book for sale. The event will take place at LA Arts in Lewiston at 1 p.m. Admission is free and open to the public. I hope to see you there!

Due to the cancellation of the Leominster French Canadian Festival last Saturday, I have some extra copies of The River Is Everywhere on hand. If you were planning to pick up a copy of the book at the festival, or even if you weren’t, I’m offering signed copies of the book for $20 including sales tax and U.S. shipping.
